Burris Rifle Sight
Burris Rifle Sight
I have a Burris DR2 banded rifle sight that does not have the sight insert. I have made an exhaustive search online and can find pretty much nothing about this sight or where to get the insert. Anyone familiar with this sight? |

Can't say as I've heard of such a critter either. From your OP, I'm assuming this is a front "iron sight", with a barrel band, missing some type of insert for the face of the sight.
Kind of curious to see a pic. |

I tried to post pics but it didn't work. It's a banded front rifle sight and the ramp has a narrow slot that the sight insert slides into and is held by a cross pin. The sight is unused in the box. Burris must not have made these for very long. I am planning to use it on an unfinished M1917 that someone started turning into a Mannlicher style rifle. Not sure what I will end up doing about the rear sight.
