Glock 34 Fiber Optic Suggestions?
Hi all. I am currently running a Heine rear sight with a Dawson fiber optic front on my G34. The fiber optic bead is .40 in diameter. I would like to change my front sight to a fiber optic with a wider diameter bead so that it will be even easier to see. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

If you can get somebody at the range to just hand you an XDm 525 in any caliber they have a .060 tube and right away you will see if that even helps. I just recently put a Dawson on mine to get the .040 optic because for me it is a finer aiming point(also got the .100 wide blade) and I think it is as easy to see as the .060. Truglow makes a front post that gives you about .100 of a view of fiber optic if you need bigger.

.40"?
Wow, that's a bead bigger than a bullet. Trust you meant .040" or about 1 millimetre. I don't think Dawson makes a bigger fibre optic, it will take another brand. What height? Hi Viz is big and bold but only one height, .167" for stock rear. The Novak F.O. looks large and is .180" tall. I guess you could ream a Dawson for a larger insert. |

Actually you want to go with the smallest diameter rod and and narrowest FO front width. That would be Taran Tactical. Everyone's FO is 1 mm, but the Taran's use a polished SS screw to reflect even more light.
