Course Description

This intense course will provide students with the necessary doctrine and skills to integrate their fighting pistol and the combat shotgun, one of the most misunderstood weapons in the self-defense battery. Course material includes practical marksmanship, ballistics, a street-proven gun handling methodology for each weapon, continuity of fire, transitional shooting, shooting with movement, mental conditioning for combat, one hand manipulation and more. A training workbook will be provided to each student.

A shotgun with sling and an ammunition carrier system for it, a flashlight with a push-button switch and/or a weapon mounted light, and knee and elbow pads will be needed. Bring your issued carry wear or tactical gear if you use it, but bring the gear you are likely to fight in! Wrap-around eye protection and hearing protection are mandatory for all attendees.

AMMUNITION: 200 pistol, 250 birdshot, 50 buckshot & 50 slug are minimum.

HOURS: 08:00 to 17:00 days 1 and 3. Late start and night shoot on day 2.
