Sig P226R tactical light that is easy on the finish..?
Hi, I just picked up a P226R stainless and I'd like to add a tactical light, as it will be a primary HD gun.
Any suggestions for a tactical light that will not scratch or scuff the stainless finish of the gun? Thank you. |

Budman, your post is misleading. Sig does not make their weapon lights only for there hand guns. Sigs have 1913 type rails or universal rails just like most other pistols. The only modern purpose made light that I am aware of is the Insight M2 made for HK USP pistols due to their proprietary rails. Sig wants to sell lights to anyone who will buy them for any gun they would like to put them on. Companies like surefire produce weapon lights that fit just as good or even better than the ones sig makes. Also, most of sig's accessories are of poor quality and I would much prefer a light from Surefire or Insight which have a reputation for quality.
