Storing brass for transport are plastic baggies okay?

As well as live 12 gauge bird shot rounds, I have 75 rounds of bird shot still in the box it came in, you know the 100 pack you get from Wally World? I have the spent brass in separate baggies 30-30, 300wm, and 38 special makes me feel organized. But will this be okay for transport? I'll be putting them in a cardboard box, I'm afraid of them getting bent or damaged so I can't reload them.

I hope this is the right section, if not how do I move the thread?

How will they be transported? Are you referring to in your vehicle or by mail? Either way, I think the cardboard box would have to get pretty smashed up prior to the brass being damaged. Just my opinion.

You might add some bubble wrap around the baggies.

I use plastic boxes to sort and store. Not the big white one of course. I can put qiite a bit in those boxes and they are easy to stack. Those I got from work (we get our orange confit in them) but im pretty sure you can find something similar

they'll be transported in my vehicle, and the sandwhich box sounds like a good idea just really afraid of damaging them.

Baggies are fine, unless you start walking on them. They will distort if you cram something against them, so the brass will probably just move instead of crush or ding.

Put the baggies in another container, in case you split a seam you won't have brass rolling around.
