lil' gun .44 mag primers?

I'd like to try some Lil' Gun powder in .44 Mag for my revolvers and don't have any data for developing loads. All of my manuals are too old to list this powder. The Hodgon site lists some loads but don't indicate what kind of primer to use. I'd like to shoot a 240 gr bullet at about 1200 fps using this powder. Should I use a Large Pistol primer or a Large Pistol Magnum primer with the Hodgon data?

Thanks, Kim
