No kiddin' ! Good info.
The only nickel plated Winchester 10mm brass I've ever seen was the nickel brass they used for Black Talon. (just thought I'd toss that in there...)

I may still have some nickeled cases....
800X can be the top performer.
N350 is, IMNSHO&E, the best overall safe choice, though. (Who still remembers those photos of someone testing my ammo through two gel-blocks set end to end, and having them both knocked of the bench?)

This is how we end up with something like a .45 Super (10mm Super?)
Same external dimensions, same COAL, but a different build to the brass and running a higher pressure. Sounds interesting!

Midway USA sent me an email and is giving me special birthday pricing from now until my birthday, so I figured I had better take them up on it. I ordered the following:
100 of the following: 180gr Speer Gold Dot 180gr Hornady XTP 180gr Remington Golden Saber 1lb of each: 800x Power Pistol AA7 N105 Longshot I have found some data for various powder/bullet combinations (albeit spotty data), but I was interested in hearing some of your pet loads. Anybody have any good ones? |

11 to 11.5gr of AA #7 with 180gr JHP is my pet load, accurate as hell, right around 1200fps and clean burning. |
