leather belt hoster
Could someone recommend a good belt leather hoster for my Xd 45 5in tactical to wear when I'am @ the deer Lease and for my Ruger New Superblackhawk 44 mag 5.5 in that won't wear on the blueing? The Ruger tends to show more than the slide on the Xd. Why is that? Is the blueing made from different chemicals?

blueing is just rust
If a gun sits in a holster it will show no wear.
If a gun goes in and out of a holster it will show wear. Certain materials and/or finishes show wear differently or to a lesser degree, but if the gun goes in and out........ Good holsters from Milt Sparks, Alessi, Rosen, Galco, others (lower cost: Kramer, Bianchi, DeSantis, others).

"...to wear when I am at the deer lease..." Whatever for? Other than because you can. The .45 ACP is not suitable for hunting anything except maybe for varmints at close range. In any case, if you're hunting, you have a rifle. A handgun is nothing more than excess weight.
Put the SuperBlackhawk in a cross draw ballistic nylon belt holster. Any unlined leather holster will wear the finish and attract moisture. Ballistic nylon won't and it weighs nothing. Think Uncle Mike's.

respectfully pooping on your shoes
I think my 252g LSWC @ 955fps to be suitable for numerous hunting uses.
Plus I can launch it from my 1911s. Especially the one with the under-two-lb trigger.
