CZ 75b - .40 cal rounds binding in the magazine

I'm curious to know if anyone else has encountered ammunition that will not load to capacity in a ten round stock magazine for a .40 cal CZ75B. this happened to me with a box of 135 grain federal hydra-shok hollowpoints. I can load seven rounds normally, but the ninth round is extremely hard to load and a tenth seems impossible. It looks to me from what i can see through the magazine catch hole that the rounds start to bind against the front of the magazine after about five rounds. This behavior is peculiar to the ammunition I previously mentioned, nothing else i've shot will do this. Has this happened to anyone else?
