It's on your copy of the receipt.
It may be 28170.

How long should it take until it no longer says "No record found"?
How long is it taking overall for the CPL to get to your house lately? |

Jack, there are people that actually have their permit from WaCo and that website still says "Record Not Found". That website is not reliable. Incidentally, your control number is on your receipt.
Have you ever been to http://www.migunowners.org/? They have an awesome forum. One of the members there is on the WaCo gun board and if you send him your information he will let you know if you get approved at a particular meeting of the board.

Doc your situation is not abnormal... I am aware of another WaCo CPL applicant who was approved some time ago and has been waiting. I have a sneaking suspicion that you have to go pick it up. Give them a call tomorrow.

Today I tried to call the Clerks office and after 3 rings it goes to a voicemail box that is full, I sent them an E-mail but I do not expect to get a responce. So the waiting game continues

I got my license in the mail on December 17th exactly 90 days after I applied in Wayne County. They called me down to the clerks office to take my picture again on November 17th and a month later 2 licenses came in the mail back to back .

It comes with a letter stating that you were approved on whatever day and if your license is not enclosed in the envelope you have to go to where you applied and pick it up. Bring your ID and your letter and they give it to you on site !

It may seem impossible but if you call at the right time maybe the beginning of the week you can leave a message mark it urgent and they will call you back. Leave your name number as well as your control number found on the back of your reciept .
