Ya don't have the .22lr pistol disease!

Ya have the current economical shooters disease

when you can shoot a brick a .22lr for the price it costs to buy a box of 50 .40 S&W, hell a smile breaks loose like cha-ching

.22LR may be cheaper to shoot, but it also is in very short supply right now.

+1 to what weblance said. I was stocked up before this frenzy ever started and by the time i run out id say it will be back to some sort of normal. I really dont understand the .22 ammo frenzy. I get why ar-15s are flying off the shelves but rimfire ammo

Well weblance I'll see your not so short supply and raise it a less than short supply.

Others are not so fortunate as us, or didn't plan for this event. In either case, it is ashame shooters can't get the ammo they want. I do feel sorry for them.

The People with the right to bear arms are getting squeezed for every nickle and dime to keep their rights.

This hold up of .22lr ammunition has got to be the the biggest load of dung.
Heard prices were gonna go up too

That one is easy. For a lot of people a 22 might be the only gun they own. I don't own any rifles except 22, and I've got a half dozen or so handguns.

I've also got a pretty fair stash of 22 ammo, but not everybody does.

Are all these people afraid they are going to outlaw the .22lr caliber or something? I guess my mind just works different. Right now is the time I would NOT want to buy ammo, because of the prices and availability. But I'm already pretty well stocked up. If you dont have any reserves I guess you have to keep buying. Ok, now I get it.

I think they're "afraid" that SOMETHING, perhaps EVERYTHING will be outlaw'd. I'm quite confident that it won't. But if it were up to the DiFi's and Hillary's of the world, they'd like it to. They see NJ, NY etc outlawing this and that indiscriminately and fear it may come to them, wherever they are.

It will all calm down. It will all calm down.

Just for fun, here's a comment I found from an apparent anti-gunner in a Yahoo News comment section -

"Military style assault rifles needs to go. 20mm rifles, .30-06 rifles, and 12-guage rifles are good enough for the public. Get over it you radical gun-fanatics."

Assuming that guy was for real, and not being sarcastic, that shows the knowledge base of at least ONE of the anti-gun voters out there. I'd assume many more than just one.

If I'm drifting off topic, and going to politico, my apologies.

Don't worry. It will all calm down sooner than we think. It always has.

I'm gonna go clean my 20mm hunting rifle.

Actually my CCW is a 20mm. Kicks like a mule, but Im glad to hear the anti-gunners are willing to leave it off the chopping block.

I once asked a liberal if it was ignorance or apathy that made him the way he was. He replied, "I dont know and I dont care."

I call those blasters. Because actually that's what I do with .22RF, it is without a doubt my favorite caliber. And those have a Star Wars look.
