9mm 1911 mags! pics and opinions please!
Looking to get a few 9mm 1911 mags. Would love to hear your luck with 8s, 9s and 10rd mags. Also has anyone ever had a 12 round 9mm mag? Found one for sale I might just have to try it.
Looking at Wilson, Cobra, Mec Gar, and whatever else. Good prices are welcome too!

Never had a malfunction with my Wilson 10 rounders (I have 2). The stock mags have had failures---leads me to believe Wilson 9mm mags are pretty good

I've had good luck with both Checkmate and MecGar mags and they are both reasonably priced.

What mags a gun likes seems to vary a bit. My wifes Series 70 Colt
9mm doesn't like Wilson ETM's but Tripp 10 rd mags work 100%, and they are much easier to seat than the Wilsons. |

Another vote for Tripp 10 round mags. They run perfect in my DW Guardian and my STI Spartan. I use them pretty hard too, letting them drop to the ground in IDPA matches, etc..

Have a Para 9 rnd, checkmate 9 rnd flush, and Wilson 10rnd. All run flawless in my DW guardian. Para 9 rnd was free from a shipping fualt for some 8 rnds for my para carry 9. I would like to try a chip Mccormick.
Who manufacturers the 12 rnd mag? I would like to look into this. |

I use Wilson ETMs and Metalforms, no trouble with either.
