Have you considered contacting some local Gunsmiths to see what they might suggest?

I hunt with a guy that has to suck on a straw looking thing to squeeze the trigger as he cannot move his hands. I don’t know exactly how it works or where he got it. But if no one has an answer that helps you, I can call him and see he uses. He can also fire his crossbow using the same mechanism.

Well, I hate to sound a little redundant, but how about local machine shops? A lot of these guys love challenges and have the skills to safely take on a job like this. Along this same line you might consider local Technical Colleges or even High School machine shops.

Try a camera store. The sell flexible cables releases in many different lengths so you could attach the one end to the trigger guard with the plunger contacting the trigger & route the flex cable to where it is comfortable for you to work it.

Are you looking to push or pull with your thumb, or use a shrug of the shoulder or other body part? I work with OTs and rehab engineers and have seen it all, but I'm not a tech expert myself. I'm on the counseling/job services end of it. Anyway, I tried searching google with 'handicapped rifle shooting' and got a lot of results, some that apply and some that don't seem to.

Here are two ideas.

Have you considered contacting the USA Shooting Team, NRA or US Paralympics? These organizations might be able to steer you in the right direction.
