opinions on grip tape

I know it wouldn't look the best on a gun, but if I were to carry would grip tape be good on the slide somewhere so if needed I could rack the slide one handed against my clothes or some other surface? How practical would this be in a real situation if I was injured?

Kyo ~

You don't need it. It's quite possible to rack the slide one-handed without it, so you really just need someone to show you how to use what you've got safely.

(Ummm, don't try to learn this from written directions or from a video. This particular skill really needs to be learned in person from someone willing to go hands-on to help you stay safe while learning.)

I already have a few ways. Just curious on something more tactical/faster.
Oh and BTW, I have read your website like a million times over. great stuff. will recommend to girls who are scared of guns but not scared of protecting themselves. maybe they will get over it
