sling suggestion for a marlin

I'm taking my sons out for a jackrabbit hunt soon. They both have Marlin XT-22 youth edition 22 rifles. For some reason it never occurred to me to get slings for them!

I was wondering if any of you had a sling recommendation. Both XT-22 come with sling mounts. I am thinking something simple like an adjustable two point maybe made of nylon? Any ideas yall?

I have had alot of slings over the years. I would recommend the 1 inch adjustable sling made of webbing. Not only do they stay on the shoulder but you will be able to teach them how to use the sling to help support (steady) the extended arm while shooting.

Great idea. That is kind of what I was thinking. It should work for both of them. Thanks!

You don't need anything fancy. I like just a simple slide-adjustable nylon 2-point sling on most of my rifles. I picked up a few a ways back, but I think you can get them at Wally World for about 10-15 bucks.

I found that a leather GI sling ala garand/M1A works wonderful on the 1895G.

Is tying the rifle to their arms not safe? Oops.

Any of the suggestions above are great, from the simple polyester adjustables, to the webbed thingys that grab your shoulder.

I went with a simple adjustable two point. I think I paid 14 bucks:
