What is your experience with PSA?
Palmetto State Armory. I am tempted to order an upper from them, but their reviews are horrible. At least in terms of service, communication and shipping.

Ive made several purchases from them and found them to be an outstanding source. Prices may not be quite as good as Wikiammo or Gunbroker, but ive never had an issue with their honesty or reliability. They have really great deals on stripped lowers. On the other hand ive gotten great deals on quality uppers from Gunbroker.

I purchased one upper from them and I have another complete rifle bought elsewhere. The quality of the rifle and upper are very good for the price. It took a little longer to get the upper to my door than possible with others. If you're in a hurry, buy elsewhere. If you're willing to wait and save some money go with PSA.

I've never had any issues with their communication, shipping or guns parts.
My PSA M4 is accurate, reliable and seems well made. It has their Freedom barrel and I've been very pleased with the accuracy.

I've lost faith in anything they sell under their own brand. I've seen too many broken PSA parts owned by friends and I.
They do have good deals on parts and ammo from other manufacturers though. Shipping is usually slow, but I don't mind that.

I've only bought ammo from them and been pleased so far.
As for their guns/uppers - Cheap and Quality rarely go hand in hand. |

Their shipping has become much quicker in the last year or two. I have had 1 experience with their customer service and it was stellar. I ordered a plated bcg and the sloppy plating has caused the ejector to freeze solid right out of the gate. They apologized and refunded me. 1 week later they sent me a replacement bcg at no cost.
I have 3 of their uppers and have only been able to run a couple hundred rounds in total through them but so far they have run flawless. I haven’t done any formal accuracy testing testing but one carbine seems to be around 3 moa and the other 2 about 2 moa. I bought their freedom and premium line. I have no experience with the ptac. |

Good, they have improved shipping times. After several AR15s that were problem free I got one off their AR10s in 7mm-08 and it's golden I also got one in .308, had a few hiccups getting it to function 100% but that is not unusual for AR10s and it's a great $650 AR10.

Your right,,,,their reviews are horrible. So is there service. Some of the people they hire know very little about guns. Most have ego problems too......

Purchased a lower a month ago. Order updated to ship within a week of ordering and arrived at FFL soon after. Just purchased a set of Magpul backup sights on Friday and they were in my mailbox today. I can't complain with their shipping times.

PSA has been fine for me.
I've bought some lowers and parts kits. I like their EPT triggers. Their parts all arrive sooner or later, but I've never been in a rush to receive when ordering. If you have questions, leave a message, then go to lunch (tomorrow). They'll get back to you eventually.

Haven’t ordered in a while, here’s my take on them:
1. Products were fine. 2. Shipping was incredibly slow, they were upfront about slow shipping. 3. The best way to get customer service was on the forum at AR15.com ... strange but worked. 4. Someone there was robbing bank accounts. 5. My bank account was hit twice by someone working at PSA. 6. My money was recovered and protected by my bank, but I was hugely inconvenienced. 7. Haven’t ordered anything from them in a while, but when I last purchased I used a sacrificial card. 8. They may have fixed the problem with the bank card thefts, but I’m still wary of them. |

Primary Arms has similar pricing as PSA and ships the next business day. I waited a month for a upper from PSA to ship.

I've always had great service from PSA. I've ordered a lot of ammo and an AR upper from them. Not as fast on the shipping as some places, but not really a problem. Average 10-14 days.

I know that their (PSA) FN sourced CHF machine gun steel barrels are as good as any and better than most for AR applications. I have bought multiple uppers and lowers and parts and such from them over the years. Yes they have been stupid slow with shipping in the past but always came through with great deals in the end.
