Smith-Wesson Forum
Is anyone else having trouble logging in to the Smith-Wesson forum? I don't go there very often but can't seem to log in right now. And I have my user name and password stored.

Well thanks for trying. I even did the forgot password thing so they could send me an email and that didn't work either. Strange.
I log in and the box comes up that says you for logging in but I'm not logged in. |

OK I was able to log in. I rarely go there and it figures the time I decide to go they are having site problems. Thanks for the replies.
I was trying to find out what model S&W revolver it was that had a recall because sometimes the primer on a 357 round would flow into the firing pin bushing and tie the gun up. The fix was a new tighter fitting FP bushing. For some reason I keep thinking it was the model 13 but couldn't find the answer there on the S&W forum. |

The first run of the L frame 586/686/581/681 were affected. S&W did (and may still) do the modification free of charge. If the modification has already been done to a no dash model it will have an "M" stamp next to the serial # IIRC.

"OK I was able to log in."
Good - closed. Sounds like the recall problem would be a good topic for a new thread in the revolver forum. This is a good resource if you have a similar problem in the future: https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ |
