athlon scopes
I've been looking at these scopes for my varmint gun. Does anybody have a ATHLON scope and how do you like it?

I've got one on order, should be here this coming week. For some reason, I thought they were on par with Aeon scopes, but after searching reviews and such, it seems Athlon is a pretty big step ahead.

Was looking into getting one prior to going with a PA 5x fixed. Would like to put one on my 6.5 grendal/6.8spc (haven't decided yet) upper. Would also like to know (both of) your thoughts (if you get one Sako2)

I don't own any guns of course. But if I did I would have a Athlon Cronus 4.5x29x56 on a RPR, Chambered in 6.5 CM
The glass is excellent, the eye relief is very good, The overall quality is very good. The turrets are a bit tight, but I think they have fixed that or there are YouTube videos on how to alter the gasket to make the turret adjustments more tactic. Mine is MIL reticle which is comprehensive but a bit busy. When lit it is very crisp. I got mine on sale for a grand and I am happy as can be. |
