I've got a Dillon XL650 that I'll be setting up in the near future. The loads of choice will be 10mm, .45, 9mm, and mabye .40 and .38 Special. For now, I'll be reloading .45 and 10mm. There's a gun show in town and I wanted to pick up some components. What's the best all around powder for .45 and 10mm, and will the same primers work for both? I was thinking about getting Federal primers large pistol primers and Accurate No. 2 or 5 for powder.

All regular large pistol primers work good for the 10mm and 45. I have used all brands and they all work fine. Accurate #5 is a great powder for both 10mm and 45 ACP. The #2 would be better of the 9mm and .38 special.

Try AA#5 for both if you want good moderate loads. I'm just re-discovering it myself for .357,.45 and .44mag. Accurate powder is often a great deal. #2 is more like Bullseye or WW231, a faster burning target load powder. It doesn't burn slow enough to get the higher velocities that #5 can, but it produces some great target loads. If you want hot loads (.45+p and hot 10mm) try Alliant Power pistol.

I'm new at reloading so I'm more interested in loads with good velocity but safe pressures. The reloads will be for Glocks so I don't want to stress the brass too much. Win 231 seems to offer moderate speed at reasonable pressure. What about Accurate?

Alright.
What about some load data using TiteGroup and 180 and 200 grain bullets for a Glock 20? You can always use HP38 instead of W231, same powder but cheaper. I'm starting on my 10mm reloading and want to use TiteGroup for my plinking rounds. I've heard great things about Longshot for high velocity self defense hunting rounds but low pressure - 200 grains, 1196 fps at 24K PSI in 10mm. Lowest pressure and highest velocity i've ever seen. Just a tad dirty.
