My first guess would be a scope. My second guess would be a really old scope. My third guess would be an old Unertl with Stith mounts.

Weaver; with a whatever ???
It's an older steel tube Weaver and might even be a variable. As for the rings/mount, Ya got me on that one and waiting to here the application. Very interesting and thanks for the post. .....

I might be wrong about the scope and probably am but the mounts are Stith for a 99 Savage. They bolt to the tang and dovetail.
