What's your favorite 3" revolver?

My favorite 3" revolver is my Ruger SP 101 .357 Magnum 3".

S&W Model 13 round-butt "FBI" gun.

Although my 629 Limited Edition gets the nod for sheer intimidation.

Although I've not owned a 3" revolver, my dream gun is a Ruger Speed Six, 3" stainless.

I've held/fondled one, and it feels close to perfect to me.

Someday....

I have 3: S&W model 65; GP100 Wiley Clapp (Hawkeye Blue); and a SP101.

Although the SP101 gets carried the most, my original fav has been the 65. The Wiley Clapp is a recent addition, and the more I get it out the closer it gets to the 65. Now I find myself reaching for the WC just as much as the 65, so it is probably a wash.

Yep... S&W 65 and 64 3 inchers. I have a few of both. But... the best is the S&W 65 "ladysmith" with shrouded ejector rod!

I would think that any 3" revolver is gonna be sexy as they come. I've got a 3" SP101, and it has become my favorite. However, a 3" 686 is on my list of must have guns, so once I get it, the SP101 may become my second favorite gun.

Right now, my only 3" gun is my M65, but if I were choose one, it'd be near the top of the list. Its action is a rare gem from the factory - buttery smooth…

S&W M-65 3" round butt... But, I'd really like the blued M-13 version. The new 7-shot 3" 686s look pretty sweet too.

Taurus Judge 45 Colt/ .410 2.5"
yep a little longer than a typical 3" snub nosed revolver but works for us

Twice thwarted a car jacking( in Austin and Houston Texas) since wife and I put them in the cars....no shot fired... thug must have had some idea that 45 colt or 410 defense was gonna hurt bad

We got the light weight ones and I was concerned...until I fired them---- very well balanced recoil that does NOT hurt and second shot easy to align

I've never handled either of my favourites, but I really wish I could have a 3" heavy barrelled Model 10, although a 3" GP-100 .357 would be nice too.

I ust think the Model would make a great carry gun....

Shame S&Ws are so thin on the ground here....

I have and carry a S&W M-60 with a 3" tube on it and outfitted with good Hogue grips that I shoot well enough for carry purposes. I'd post a pic if Photobucket hadn't kidnapped all my gun pics for ransom. Rod

Mine is the one that is on me when I'm dressed, and beside me when I'm not.

There is something to be said for how Ruger stainless holds up to daily carry abuse.

Ruger SP101 is my only 3" revolver, but my 3.5" Cimarron Lightning is still fun.
