I learned 4 things today.
First, I really do prefer the 1858 Remington to the Colt open top designs, even the Walker.
Second, Its a lot of fun doing a shoot off between the 2 pistols when someone else brings the Colt & it's all in good fun. Third, The 4+ Lb Walker is nowhere as unwieldy as I assumed it would be. Fourth, Never do this in one of those outdoor ranges where they have walled in the firing line 90% as a noise abatement feature, especially the point shooting head to head against the clock part of the contest. *kof* * koff* ( I think we turned onlookers into kippers there was so much trapped smoke!)
