S&W Holsters ... age?

I'm wondering if anyone has a general idea of the approximate age of these used S&W holsters I just acquired, and maybe what price they went for when new. I got a really great price on them, and I couldn't be happier with the quality. Both revolvers fit nicely, and the straps holds them nice and snug ... and they smell soo good, mmmm real leather.

The larger one has the numbers 21 24, and the smaller has 21 62, on the back, under the S&W logo. I guess they are model numbers. I know they were probably made for a wide range of years, but maybe someone can narrow it down to a couple of decades, etc. Any help appreciated.

I got mine in the 1970's and 1980's. I have several in that pattern. Great field, or open carry holsters... If I remember right they ran about $20.00. I believe they called them Ranger holsters... I'm not sure if S&W made their own leather gear, or if they just marked other manufacturs with their logo. I do know that pattern holster was made by almost every brand at one time. They are still available from Hunter, and maybe a few others. The ones you have are really nice though... ( can you get more?) lol
