S&W parts interchangeability.

I am old and can no longer remember...please bear with me. Are the hammer and trigger (and other such parts), interchangeable between K and L frame Smith and Wessons? I seem to remember that K, L, and N parts were the same.

Gunparts shows different SKU numbers for M19, M25 and M586 hammers. They also show 'em as fitting different models. 581, 581-1, 581-2, etc. Shows 'em as different dimensions too. .375, .400, .500. No .375 size listed under either L or N frames.
Different part numbers in Smith manuals too.
So I'd say not.

"K" and "L" triggers are the same.
"L" frame hammers are completely different and won't work in a "K" frame.

Other parts may or may not interchange between the different frame sizes.
Also, other parts may change between "Dash" versions.

In the past at least triggers came in standard 1/4" grooved, combat 3/8" smooth and target 1/2"grooved .
