Gun Show Find Today

Went to the gun show at KCI airport today in Kansas City. Found this for 75
It is a .36 cal. Bore and cylinders are bright. action works good. Now, what
is it? A Spiller & Burr or just another Remmy with a brass frame. It's marked
FIE on the butt.

I would say that $75.00 is a good price. Congrats. Nice find.

Definitely a .36 cal Remmie recreation. Nice find and a great price.

The shape of every Spiller & Burr that I have ever seen, is a little less refined than the Remmie. See how the frame is flat on the side, behind the barrel, where your pistol has a little more contour. Very pretty gun! I have one that is very similar, but with an 8" barrel. I haven't been able to track down the maker of mine.

.36cal. Brass Remington

You made a great purchase of a somewhat rare replica. RPRCA has only come across one of these by FIE in 15yrs of research. It was purchased for $200 over 10yrs ago. The short barrel, .36cal. brass Remington is one of the less seen replica. There are others marked by their importer that are even more rare.
