Old Winchester 1906

I have an old Winchester model 06 .22 pump short, long, or long rifle. The problem is I don't have the takedown instructions for it. So if anyone knows where I can find some that would be great. I've seen some for sale on ebay but I would prefere not having to pay for it. So if there's one on the internet somewhere that would br great. Thanks...

Try winchestercollector.org. They have a spot for an e-mail. You can send them your request. Might also try the Cody firearms museum in Cody, WY.

I have tried to find the same for my 06 but have struck out also after having spent over 30 hours on the Internet for free info on it. Good luck.

1906

Instructions for the Winchester 90 will work for the 1906. 90 is short for 1890. DBI Firearm Assembly books-Part III Rimfire Rifles has step by step information. Hope this helps.

Model 1906 info

This is a pretty good parts diagram from Homestead's appraisal page. It might help you ID parts at least.

There is a complete take down manual for the 1890/1906. It has great pics of the step by step process of how to take it appart!! It has a complete list of all parts for the 1890 and 1906. They have it available in book form, internet download or cd. check it out at http://homesteadfirearms.com/parts/shopcart/pid_952.htm
