XDM 3.8 Striker Pin Cleaning?

Ok, after a few hundred rounds, myXDM has finally quit firing. Do I need to take the striker pin and spring out to clean or will running a little gun scrubber through it to clean it. I know there might more to it but just looking for a quick fix without tearing it down. The last couple of times out i have noticed that 4 or 5 rounds out of 100 would not fire but this time no rounds would go off and hardly an indention on the primer. Anyway, looking for info or any problems that the XDM might have in this area.

Don't you know its a BIG secret. You ask a question about a problem, fix it and slip into the night like a super hero and don't disclose your cures.
