You also might want to learn to shoot from the left side as well as using an AR for deer - a LOT less recoil

Very unfortunately the OP passed away early this morning. As you may gather from the thread he was not well but I didn't know he was quite this ill.

I miss him already.

It saddens me to hear this, I hope he at least got to go on one last hunt.

I lost a friend to cancer. He was a drag racer since the 60's. I had the honor of pit crewing for his last blast down the quarter in his 9 sec. 140 mph 1955 oval window VW Beetle.
