case length max -min

I know I've read this before but can't find the thread so gotta ask again. Reloading with all Lee components and need to know the maximum case length allowed before trimming is required since the Lee gauge is not adjustable and indicates minor trimming after each reload. Just trying to save time I guess by not having to trim and debur every time I cycle my cases.

Two, you don't say what you're loading so I can't be specific.

I was just checking my Speer manual which gives Max Case Length and Trim-to length. Trim-to length appears to always be .010" shorter than max.

Depends on cartridge but I would think that'd give you a couple of reloads before trimming is required.

If it's a 270 Win
Max = 2.540"
Trim-to = 2.530"

Most of my reloading is for .223 mini Target. Lee gauge trims to 1.75. Same deal with '06, would need to trim after each cycle. I'll go ahead with .10 stretch factor before trimming and see what happens.

Yuppers, that's a big 10-4, if you can find reloading components anymore. Seems since the election there has been a shortage on just about everything. Midway's favorite status word is backorder. Same with my local FFL.
