Straight Through The Heart

Sometimes you gotta string the bullet through barbed wire, trees and brush for a 50 lb hog heart shot. Click here for video.

Nice shot, scope and rifle.
2:20 in the morning is a bit too early for many of us.

Don't forget: You(we) can completely blow the heart on man or beast... and they've still got ~15+ seconds to kill you.

Maybe, but I don't think that little pig could have closed the 210 yards in 15 seconds. And larger rounds from larger weapons, tend to greatly reduce the time or close-able distance:

.50 eliminates taliban threat with first hit

^ heavy!!! Battery and a 20 Round Mag makes it a tank. I’d easily guess 15-18lbs. I’ve never weighed it.

In my 15ish years hunting on the ground I’ve only had 1 hog come after me. I’ve had a lot run towards me because they are scattering/running away. Many folks call this a charge and it’s not. When a hog is after you it does a deep protective gutteral growl and point its head towards you and straight up chase you.

15-18 pounds!
Well, at least you don't have to climb much in Texas. And there is plenty of air to breath there too.

I was charged plenty a few years back when I hunted with my fathers dog who was/is mainly a moose dog. he worked quite good on boar to but was slightly too weak

now I got two bitches of dogs that will not allow a boar to go towards me (:
