Glock night sights
I've been wanting to put night sights on a couple of Glocks for a while now. I'm a bit torn between Trijicon, Tru-Glo and Meprolight, so far as brands. Any thoughts/suggestions? Also, I have heard that they're a piece of cake to install, and I've heard the opposite. Anyone got any experience with it?

I don't think they are hard, but matter of perspective. Rear factory is pretty easy to tap out, but almost all aftermarket are steel not plastic, so hammer and bronze punch are required, and you have to tap the rear sight back and forth to line it up. The Front sight usually has a screw, and I highly recommend using loctite.
As to types, I am partial to tritium rather than light collection systems. They are a glowing beacon in night vision situations (glowing target for enemy with nvg) though, if that might be a concern. More coin, but lazermax is HIGHLY effective at low light hits.

I like Trijicon best of the three , if you have a sight pusher it a quick job.

For night sights, the easiest I've found to install are Aro-Tek.
http://www.arotek.com/orderform.aspx They give you a wrench to tighten the front sight and the rears use a provided allen wrench to tighten. No need for a pusher, just tap out the Glock sights with a wooden dowel. They use Trijicon lamps. Shown next to Glock steel sights. Dave |

Well, I settled on Meprolights. I bought two sets...one for my son-in-law for Christmas, and another for myself. We installed them on his G19 and my G26 yesterday. We are both well-pleased.

Good choice that's what I was just going to suggest. I've had bad luck with trijicon pistol sights lately.

I bought a set of Trijicons for my Glock 32 and never looked back. I did buy a larger diameter front than rear which to me helps with target acquisition more than off colored pairs and i made sure to buy the white ringed models as I find the unringed models more difficult to pick up during daylight.
