This weekend I had the pleasure of using my new Kowa TSN-821A with 27X Long Eye Relief at the Virginia Sport Shooting Association Advanced High Power Rifle clinic.
I could clearly see .223 holes in the black on an overcast door at 200, with ease! Best scope I have ever used. Next weekend will will be shooting 300 and 600 and a 50 shot National Match course, I will let you know how it works. But right now I am thinking that this is one of the best uses on could make of $600. This is especially if you already have a couple of good rifles! ------------------ Ni ellegimit carborundum esse! In the 70's Kowa was known for superb camera optics especially in the medium format film area. I'm not surprised you are pleased with the optics.

I had a cheapie Tasco 60X. Recently came into posession of a Burris 45X. The Burris is much more helpful in spotting.
It would appear that magnification is easy (and cheap). Resolution is where the money and quality is. Caveat Emptor. Rich |
