A pro-gun COVER story from David Mamet
Newsweek? Didn't expect to see this in the national media. I can't find a picture of the cover to post here, but its very "in your face" and will surely make some readers upset when they go to their mail box; good :-).
Thoughts? I found it to be fantastically well written (dude's a playwright, after all). |

Correction: Newsweek has gone all digital, so no exasperated gasps at the mail box for gun grabbers this week .

I edited the thread title to make it clearer.
Mamet had some sort of political epiphany a couple of years ago. Even wrote a book, which I admit to having slogged through. He's gone from being insufferably self-righteous on one side of the spectrum to being insufferably self-righteous on the other. Still, this essay is well-written, and it'll be seen by a wider audience than, say, Joe Bob's Gun Blog.
