Awerbuck on shotgun manipulation?
I seem to remember having read something from Louis Awerbuck on how to handle the pump shotgun (loading etc), but I have failed to find it in the SWAT issues I have (going back to around 2003). Do I remember wrong, or have I simply not searched good enough?

Shotgun
He wrote a book about that time called The Defensive Shotgun Techniques and Tactics published by Desert Publications in 1989.
It is a basic instruction to shotguns. Starting with the shotgun , ammunition choices , patterning all the way through basic handling and shooting on the move. 77 pages of instruction. |

I could no longer find the shotgun book listed for sale at the Paladin Press website, although perhaps they have some left: http://www.yfainc.com/books.html
http://www.paladin-press.com/ I did get the DVD a while back before taking one of his classes and the DVD did include much of what the in-person class included.

You can find the shotgun book at
http://www.deltaforce.com/cgi-ss/cgi...eid=deltaforce If you are referring to a SWAT article you may find it in Tactical Reality or More Tactical Reality which both are compilations of Louis Awerbuck's articles up till '05 I believe. |
