What is wrong with me? I need help
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=451843498
I have a friend that likes my Plainsman and wanted one. So when I saw this thing, I grabbed it. It looks better than mine so I'll let mine go to my friend. But not before I figure out whicha one shoots the best.

What's wrong with you? Not for me to decide. You need help? I can only tell you what I'd do if it was me we were talking about and not you.
Gun karma is real. Do right & stick to what's right and it comes around in the finest of ways. In my opinion, love the one ya got and if you chased this down for a friend, forward this one to your friend. If yours is plenty good enough for you now, there's little sense in hoping or trying to upgrade that. The one you have is a very known quantity, I would expect. Don't trade that away for the next one you don't truly know at all.

Agree with above. I'd keep the older one if it was a good shooter (for me). Let your friend deal with the unknown and go through the learning curve. That's half the fun.

You wouldn't trade away a good horse or dog, so why trade away a good gun?

Keep the one you have owned. Let your friend have the new one.

I haven't had my plainsman too long. I've only made one trip to the range with it, so the learning curve on this rifle is still in the making.
