Gov. Pat Quinn in Illinois

I don't know if this is the right forum or not, so I'll apologize in advance. You can move it to General if that's where it belongs.

The new governor of IL looks honest, hardworking, modest, and unconnected to the Chicago political machine. (I've seen him referred to as The Antiblago) What is his position on gun control, and is now a chance to get rid of some of that BS y'all have to put up with over there? FOID's, no carry permits, etc.

Not really sure his stance on gun control, but I have heard nothing from him regarding the issue. At best, he might allow the issue to be voted on, at worst, he's the same as Blago.
