Based on the quality of their other tools....
I wouldn't trust one any further than I could throw it via telekinesis. Though, I now realize you may actually be asking for help ..... In that regard, I have nothing to offer.

So called "Smartreloader" is a direct ripoff/ cheap copy of many of mainstream reloading companies products. Their "so called" warranty " is just about impossible to claim, you have to return it to where you bought it. Not direct to the Chinese shadow company that made it.
Good luck if you decide to buy it, you're going to need it!

I'm not sure what advice you need exactly... clarity of needs helps you get clear answers.
If you're looking to buy, the Hornady LnL dispenser is LESS expensive the Smartreloader. Seems like a no-brainer.

Like Brian and others have said already, they are junk and theirs no warranty with the purchase that means anything. If you watch the Hornady Auto Charges, you can get them on sale for around $170.00 and up. I paid $169.95 for mine with free shipping. It works really well and is supported by a very reputable company. If you already have one, well, I wish you would have asked sooner. |

Among all the forums I visit, Smart Reloader has a reputation for selling junk. I have no experience with their powder dispenser, but I bought one of their presses (out of curiosity and low cost). The press I got has one purpose now, it hangs on the wall above my reloading bench to remind me to never buy anything from Smart Reloader ever again!

If you haven't bought a Smartreloader yet, don't. They're junk. You can get the Hornady Auto Charge from Midsouth for pretty cheap.
If you have bought the Smartreloader, it could always be used as a target....then buy a Hornady, or RCBS or Lyman. Anything other than Smartreloader. |

The only thing smartreloader gear is good for is as skeet shooting targets. I would not trust any of their gear, ESPECIALLY one as important as a powder scale. Get a cheap beam scale(used Lyman/RCBS/whoever) and powder thrower and call it a day.
