XD Mod2 45acp
Just got back from the range after shooting our new XD Mod2 45acp that my wife purchased for herself. This is not a compact but a 4" Model.
This is our first 45acp and the first time the wife has fired one. So far it seems she likes it. BTW she does also have a XD Mod2 9mm so it is something familiar. Her first couple targets also looked good at 7yds. Also got to try my brothers Sig SP2022 40S&W. It was interesting. Think I like the XD better. |

Bought one of these when they first came out. Shot a near perfect score on the local LE qualification course with it before I had a box of shells through it. My only mod wsa Trijicon sights. It shoots easier and better all around that my Glock 22, which I carried for years and have thousands of rounds through. Feels much more natural to me and 'fits' me better. Great gun!

I've got the XD Mod 2 45acp in the subcompact model, but have not had a chance to get it to the range. Hopefully this week.

I have the Mod 2 .45 subcompact and it now had XS BIG DOT night sights on it. VERY comfortable shooting .45, so much so, that I'm pondering selling my Mod 2 9mm. I'm shooting the .45 so much better than the 9mm and just as quickly. Springfield nailed it with this one, except for the silly "grip zone" thingy.

Ive had an XDS 45 and an XDM 45 for a few years now. Both shoot beautifully! The triggers could use a tune up but their totally shootable. Just got night sights for the S. Cant wait to shoot with them.
Good luck with yours! |

I have the XDM 3.8 .45. Very nice gun. Is it that much better than my other non "M" XD's?
To me no actually. But it is a nice sized .45 with lots of capability. |

Just ordered up the parts needed to reload for this gun. The Lee Shellplate has already arrived and the dies should be here the end of the week. Still need to get bullets.
