hk ump 40 civilian model?

has anyone ever seen an HK UMP40 in semi-auto only? If so - where might I come across one?

Hk only imported the UMP to the U.S. in .45 only as the USC. There is a U.S. company called Omega that started making their own UMP receivers, so with the proper bolt and barrel you can assemble one in 9, 40, or 45. I believe the rails are proprietary on the Omega's. Atlantic Firearms stocks the Omega brand.

There is a builder by the name of Tommybuilt who does lots of hard to find HK builds. XM8, G36 models, etc. I think he does UMP builds off of USC parts with proprietary receivers. I also seem to remember that his builds run into the thousands, so it depends how badly you want it

To be clear, HK imported UMPs in all 3 calibers, but USCs only in 45acp.

And the USC was the only version made available for "civilians", I didn't think a little lazy writing would cause confusion about the military/law enforcement UMPs...
