Affordable rifles that take AR15 magazines?

Looking for AR15 priced or less, nothing exotic/expensive.

I know there is the Keltec SU-16. Is this a quality/reliable rifle?

What else is out there?

At least with the current situation the Remington 7615P is no longer affordable. They are now going north of $700 and the last one I kept track of went for right at $800 and it was in average condition. Mine was bought last year in very good condition for $325.

I see the Mossberg MVP Patrol was just introduced.

Any word on when it will be available and who has them in stock?

Looks like the MVP patrol will be coming out in the summer and it does look cool . . The new stock system looks like a winner . Interchangeable with the shotgun if you have the same stock/system . $1,000 better be a tack driver .

I'm intrigued by the new MVP. I'll have to keep an eye out for one, depending on the price.

The MVP has been out for a 1 1/2 years or so but they did bring out a shorter barrel version. Seems to be a better than average shooter too.

You can get a Rem 700 and maybe savage conversion for AR mags. Not cheap though.

I have an MVP Predator, and it's actually smoother with a GI mag. I know there are detractors, but it's accurate and handy. I put more scope on it, and need to do another sight in, to take advantage of it's accuracy potential.
