The guns will be issued to the Marines who man the 155 mm guns on the Zumwalts when they finally become operational.

This is a sarcastic take on whether the Armed Forces are going to redo all their weapons to 6.8 when they have much more serious procurement needs.

Indeed. The military needs a replacement carbine about as much as they need a replacement pistol.
