Sig magazines

I will be purchasing the Sig 220 super match .45 in the next few weeks

What magazines from other MFR are ok to use?

I think it has a spacer on the bottom.

Saw this on Ebay
4 PACK Sig Sauer P220 8rd magazine .45 ACP NICKEL ACT MAG Made In Italy NEW

$94 free shipping.

Generally Mec Gar magazines are as good as it gets. For almost any gun. They actually make the mags for alot of gun manufacturers. As far as Sig goes, they are OEM.

There are no magazines branded Mec-Gar made for the P220. Magazines branded by ACT-Mag are generally considered to be the best after-market P220 magazines, with many users viewing them as being as good as factory-branded mags.

ACT mags are ok. There was a time they had issues with feeding lips spreading and base plates breaking. To make sure you are getting the newer version I would buy them here.

$17.95

long term the cost of mags is your least problem in terms of expense...ammo to practice, match fees, etc...

Just buy the Sig mags and be done with it....

Greg Cote is awesome. Prices are great, shipping is super fast.

No need to pay twice as much.

I have bought the ACT mags for my P220 from Greg and had good results with them. No issues so far.

Thank you gc70. I had no idea Mec Gar didn't make 220 mags. They make mags for every Sig I own. I thought they were the oem.

Interestingly, they don't list the P239 (357 Sig) either, but I own a handful of them.

Greg Cote will ship 10 round or less mags to all of NY State except for NYC. I have bought from him for almost a decade with zero issues.

@Sgt127, I have no idea which manufacturer makes P220 mags for SIG. All I know is that Mec-Gar does not sell any mags for the P220 under the Mec-Gar brand.

ACT-MAG magazines can be had for under $20 each. They are good to go, made in Italy, come in the factory blued steel or nickel finish.

Absolutely. I have Mec Gars for my Berettas and my CZ75s and they are absolutely first rate and every bit as good as OEM.
