OP, it's a disappointment that you're still waiting. I've been told that the gov entities that approve Form 4's that the employee resources are allocated by state ? Anyone else verify this ? Possibly there is a heavy backlog of form 4's within your state ? I can't answer why yours is taking so long, but up here in New Hampshire whenever I purchase a firearm the NCIS check usually only takes about 20 min when faxed. When my FFL's called via phone I get an immediate "proceed". I have a very clean background, only an arrest in 1998 for operating a motorcycle without a license. I'm also well credentialed as I hold a NH LTCC.
