There have been instances of coyotes getting too brazen about people on open space around Boulder. If the park rangers or Division of Wildlife exterminate (read that kill them) the trouble makers the local animal lovers just throw a wall eyed fit.
I read online today that the law against slaughtering horses for human consumption is being "quietly overturned." That law was one of the most dimwitted pieces of legislation ever written. A representative of the Humane society stated that people will fight over turning the anti-horse slaughter law because "people won't stand for killing Trigger." Most horses that go to slaughter ain't trigger. They are spoiled or old or otherwise worthless. Sheesh. I agree. If civilization falls into the toilet, it won't surprise me. |
