CA 10 Day Waiting Period Stuck Down

The Federal judge stuck down the waiting period for those that pass a background check and possess a Permit to Carry.

Is this ruling binding or just another step in the process pending appeal?

I believe that ruling is over a year old. It is in limbo as the state has appealed the ruling.

The case, Silvester v. Harris, is on appeal to the 9th Circuit. The injunction issued by the District Court was stayed by the 9th Circuit.

Whoever wrote the RedAlert article can't read a calendar. The Firearms Policy Coalition post was dated August, 2014.

Old news and really nothing to discuss, at least until we hear from the 9th Circuit.
