Prvi Partizan 6.5 Carcano .268" ammo
Gents, Does anyone have experience with the newer PP Carc ammo/bullets in .268 ?
Unlike Hornady it,s apparently an actual fmj. Does it create overpressure like the Hornadys ? |

last I had heard hornady was the only person that actually used .268. this was several years ago but the PRVI was actually using standard .264 projectiles.

Update Gents,
While Graf & Sons carries the Carcano components in .268; neither they nor Prvi USA plan on importing the Rounds loaded in .268 ! Ironic, since that's the bullet we can use, and makes you wonder just WHERE do they send the .268 loaded ammo !! Thanks, IAC. |

I love to buy 0.268” bullets for my arisaka t38. Its barrel tumbles 0.264” bullets. I used to be able to buy Hornady seconds from Graf and sons till they ran out a few years ago. Now the only option is cast bullets.
I saw the ppu loaded ammo sold by Graf. But it doesn't say what bullet diameter they use. Price is not bad. But I haven't bought loaded ammo for long time. It is not yet desperate enough to start. -TL Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk |

With the PRVI loads, the short Carcano cavalry Carbine I had shot 5"-6" groups at 100yds.
