thoughts on remington mod 11/savage 720

Hi all i am in the market for a new shotgun
And found both a remington model 11 and
A savage model 720 for sale for around 250
Each the remington looks and operates fairly
Rough and the savage is clean and smooth
Does anybody know what i should look for
In either one im a sucker for an a5 style
Shotgun but cannot afford one so any input
Is appreciated thanks
