I tend to favor reddots over scopes when I want a fast-acquire lightweight rifle--I just bought a couple of Burris RT-3's and so far I'm extremely impressed--you may want to consider one of these. Yes they are pricey; but I think they fit nicely in that category of "red dot that can shoot like a scope."
