Loading a .38 Derringer

Always place the lighter bullet in the top bbl, heavier in lower bblthis helps reduce recoil recovery time a Lot. Heavier recoil directly into palm of the hand for control.

Neat trick.
How much difference in bullet weights is required to make a difference in the recoil?

Good tip.

I bet the over/under shotgun crowd really get this trick.

Try 148 gr WC in both barrels.

Derringer is up close and personal. Either go Full Bore LSWCHP.. or go Cookie Cutter.

I sold my 38 spl derringer in the mid 70's and never looked back. New owner went to snake load . Because he couldn't hit anything either.

What would be the rationale for loading two different cartridges in a Derringer. It's pretty much useless at anything more than point black range.
