Hows this for a less than lethal?

I was wondering how effective a tranqulizer gun would be against an agressive human? Seems to me that a few microns of Immobulin administered IM would stop any hostile threat. I suppose that it would be considered a controlled substance, though. Anyone know the legality of owning one? Another problem would be the time it takes for the drugs to kick in might be enough to cause you immediate harm. Hmmmm...

Less than lethal ?

Like many other things discussed here, tranqing one may or may not work as planned. Three things likely to occur. No effect, desired immobilization, death.

A fine line indeed between under control and dead.

If firearms are out of the question, as another poster on a similar thread said, keep it simple. Ball bat, framing hammer handle or whatever. Just be prepared to use such only in the event that the use of lethal weapon would be justified.
